Sonar – MicroKorg Patch

Introduction

This is a kind of an utility patch that you can still use as a playable synth voice. It sounds somewhat between a noisy electric piano and a band-pass filtered noise (which is what this patch is after all). However, if you whish to have a full piano-like experience (i.e. polyphony), you do need to change the third setting on the VOICE row from MON to PLY. This is a very simple patch that doesn’t stray too far from the INIT patch you get from pressing SHIFT+3 and then 3 again. Because of this, the video does no go through all the settings in the MicroKorg, but you can still check the full patch parameter table on this page.
